Please join us at the “A Taste of the Peninsula” on Saturday, October 6th, 11am – 3pm. Held at Mainescape Garden Shop in Blue Hill, the Taste of the Peninsula is a premier Fall event featuring food & wine from local restaurants and other businesses–including our island friends at 44 North Coffee and Black Dinah Chocolatiers!
The Geoffrey Warner Booth Theme is “In the Kitchen with Owls & Lobster!” We’ll have our wide selection of ergonomic Owl Stools including the new Bar Stool & Owl Perch–perfect for Kitchen counters. Joining us in the booth, will be our friend, Brooke Dojny, the Sedgwick cookbook author of “Lobster! 55 Fresh & Simple Recipes for Everyday Eating.” Brooke will be signing books 1-3pm and will serve a Taste of one her recipes!
The “Taste” event kicks off Blue Hill’s 7th Annual Foliage Food & Wine Festival–Oct 4th-14th. For more information about this event visit the Blue Hill Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. Admission to the Taste of Peninsula is $10 per person; children 12 years of age and under are free (the Bay School Parents are offering a play area with lots of activities). Over 20 vendors will participate and Music will play throughout the event. The Chowder Contest will be held at 1pm. Here is the event map and list of participants:
